image height (max_pic_size)

Hi there,

Im using MaxiGallery with "Picture and thumbnails on same page", the problem is now that (using max_pic_size) the pictures in landscape format will be fine, but in portrait format they will break my layout by pushing the surrounding div downwards. is there a way to force the images to have a certain height no matter what, and still keep their aspect ratio? ...i could set the surrounding div to overflow:hidden and/or give the image in that div a certain height in my stylesheet, but that doesn’t look very elegant

i was experimenting with phpthumb as well, and was searching four hours in the forum without success...

any ideas or solutions?
