How to add a Richtext field to a picture

Hi,

I’m working with the thumb and picture on the same page. This all works fine.
But I noticed that when I add an "enter" to the description, that it wont open that image (with title and description). It simply doesn’t recognize the link anymore.
But for the styling of the website I really need to add "enters" so I figured it would help to change the description text to "Richtext".

I’ve got the feeling that the "description"field can’t be changed but is it possible to add a snippet call (make that Richtext) and that I can edit that in the "upload" form? (then I’ll just ignore the description field)

It’s been a couple of hours ago sinds I posted this and I got a lot further. I added other textfields but when I tried to upload it, the server didnt save it.
After a while I figured I had to change some Javascript and a lot of PHP but that’s too risky and too much work for me. So i’m gonna try to make this gallery now by using Ditto’s.
If someone still has a good idea how to make this work with MaxiGallery than I’m eager to hear. Cause I think Maxigallery is gonna be a lot more userfriendly than to upload everything seperate with ditto’s.

Not sure if I understood correctly what your problem is, but..

If the line breaks in your picture title / description fields are breaking your js code (probably is), you can fix it easily by using a PHx modifier in MaxiGallery templates what removes the line breaks and adds slashes to quotes. So create a snippet "phx:slashandstrip" with this content: return addcslashes(preg_replace("~([\n\r\t\s]+)~"," ",$output), "’");. Then in your maxigallery template, when you feed the picture title / description to the javascript, use [+maxigallery.picture.title:slashandstrip+] and same for description.

Also by giving online url to the page having problems would help better to solve it.
