PHx plugin should work right out-of-the-box.. Hmm.. ok, PHx just won’t work in your environment then.. don’t know why. Or actually, PHx is working in your site, but not fully. The PHx modifiers seem to work, but not the condition syntax. Or actually, conditions are working too, but not those that are inside another condition.
Hmm.. don’t you see the PHx syntax in picture management page? That template also uses PHx conditions that are inside another PHx conditions. If that page is OK, the gallerypicturetpl.html file in MaxiGallery templates might have just corrupted.
You might want to try and upload the MaxiGallery files again, if the template files have corrupted during file transfer or something. Get the [
http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,24600.0.html]v0.6 test version[/URL], delete the existing /assets/snippets/maxigallery folder from your site and upload the new files in place.
If that doesn’t work, you need to create custom templates where PHx syntax is (almost) stripped out..
For example: you are using &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` in your snippet call.. so you wan’t the parts in the templates that only affect slimbox display type. You can have conditional PHx syntax, but not so that there are conditions inside another condtitions.

So, create a new chunk based on that called "mg_slimbox_gallerypicturetpl" an have just the slimbox related stuff there without excess PHx syntax, eg:
