Query IDs `all` finds gallery that no longer exists

    I have a nice installation of MaxiGallery, with everything working smoothly. Now, I just decided to add a random selection of gallery images to my home page. But, using 
    &gal_query_ids=`all`
    causes MaxiGallery to find test galleries that I created in development, which no longer exist in the MODx document tree (I deleted them), and do not have any folders in the "assets/galleries" directory (so, the call can’t actually display the images, it just shows alt text for the missing galleries).

    This is my call:

    [!MaxiGallery? &gal_query_ids=`all` &order_by=`random` &limit=`4`!]


    Is this a bug, or did I remove the old galleries in the wrong way - as they are obviously still referenced somehow in the database, even though they are totally removed from the MODx Manager, and from the actual file structure of my installation.

      If you just remove the document from MODx manager, it doesn’t automatically remove the pictures. You need to first go to the picture management and click the "remove all pictures" button and after that remove the document. If you have already removed a document but not the pictures on it, view maxigallery database table with phpmyadmin or similar and delete the rows that have the deleted document id in the gal_id field.

      You can also make the gallery deletion happen automatically on document removal by using this plugin.

        ok, understood. I must have done it in such an order that I removed the document and the pictures, but left the info pointing to the pictures in the database table.

          It’s best to use the plugin, so there’s as little need for manual work as possible smiley
