Firefox 3, manage button vanished [SOLVED]

Hi All,
Just an FYI... for me Firefox 3 killed the "manage" button in Maxi. 

I thought I was losing it, and even briefly thought that someone must have bonked the setup, but then I tried IE7 and the button is happy as a clam.  As it happens, my PC had a meltdown, and on my new machine I ended up with Firefox 3.  Firefox 2 had worked great with Maxi.  I hate being a browser beta-tester.... serves me right for downloading version 3 when it’s been out for only a couple weeks.   Not the first bug I’ve found, either.

Anyway, I hope this helps someone.

It looks like this may be OK after all.  I took another look at the site in question, and still no Manage button in Firefox 3.  However, I logged onto another site and the button DID appear.  The only obvious difference was that Friendly Alias Path was turned off.  I went back to the first site, turned Friendly Alias Path off, and button returned! 

Punchline: when I turned Friendly Alias Path back on, the button was still there!  I don’t know the reasons for this, but maybe it’s something to do with Firefox 3 cookie, cache, or Javascript handling. And this is referring to FF3 for Windows, which I forgot to mention.  So this isn’t a definitive solution at all, but at least with some fiddling the button came back.

MaxiGallery / Firefox 3 combination works like a dream here...

There are some major bug differences between FF3 Mac and Windows. FF3 Mac crashes on certain Ditto-generated Hebrew pages, while FF3 Windows has no problem with them (nor does IE, Safari or Opera).

I have also had problems with the manage button when using FF 3 (Beta) in WinXp.. Didn’t look at that time what was the problem.. Sounds weird. It has something to do with how FF3 manages sessions or something like that.
