MaxiGallery installed! I need some help though...

I have succesfully installed the MaxiGallery tool. And it’s working. But I have a few questions that I would like to ask, that can save me considerable time with my web design...

1. Other then the Maxigallery upload tool... how can I manually upload pics to various directories inside my assets folder that I have created, and have MaxiGallery then make thumbs of these images? After that...

2. How/Where do I determine the thumbnail dimension for the thumbnails that MaxiGallery creates?

3. Finally (for now) , I need for my surfers to be able to comment and rate the photos in the galleries, possible also have a rating for over all galleries, etc. how can I go about this?

Yeah.. I think you can find an answer from the wiki to pretty much each point, but in short:

1. With an FTP client for example, then use the "synch gallery" button in MaxiGallery picture management.

2. With a snippet parameter &max_thumb_size. See MaxiGallery Wiki for descriptions on the various parameters. Note that you need to re-upload images if you change the parameters that affect pictures (sizes and filters such as drop shadow, image mask etc..).

3. Use anything rating and Jot. There are demo sites that show how to set them up.
