Hi, I’m using this code for the two galleries on my test server: ( http://test.superluminon.com/ )
    Gallery 1
    [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery` &smoothgallery_id=`10` &smoothgallery_preloader="false" &smoothgallery_height=`160` &smoothgallery_width=`180` &smoothgallery_showArrows=`false` &smoothgallery_showCarousel=`false` &smoothgallery_showInfopane=`false` &smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_delay=`10000` &smoothgallery_fadeDuration=`500` &order_by=`random` &smoothgallery_embedLinks=`false` &manage_target=`13`!]

    Gallery 2
    [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery` &smoothgallery_id=`20` &smoothgallery_preloader="false" &smoothgallery_height=`500` &smoothgallery_width=`650` &smoothgallery_showArrows=`false` &smoothgallery_showCarousel=`false` &smoothgallery_showInfopane=`false` &smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_delay=`10000` &smoothgallery_fadeDuration=`1500` &order_by=`random` &smoothgallery_embedLinks=`false` &manage_target=`14`!]

Then, I put in the different page targets, with a different template, this code:
    [!MaxiGallery? &smoothgallery_id=`20` &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`smoothgallery` &smoothgallery_preloader="false" &smoothgallery_height=`160` &smoothgallery_width=`180` &smoothgallery_showArrows=`false` &smoothgallery_showCarousel=`false` &smoothgallery_showInfopane=`false` &smoothgallery_timed=`true` &smoothgallery_delay=`10000` &smoothgallery_fadeDuration=`500` &order_by=`random` &smoothgallery_embedLinks=`false` &is_target=`1`!]

I’m not sure I need all that in my target page... But anyway, my problem is that it’s pulling the images from the same gallery. I’m using a &smoothgallery_id parameter, to no avail. It also resize the pictures in the sequence, for some unknown reason; it didn’t do that before.

GAH! This is freakin incredible. I’ve not seen wonkiness like this in a while!

      Okay, so here’s the deal:
I’m experimenting with &gal_query_ids. So far it’s worked okay, except for two things:
The stuff I mark for gal_query_ids=`2`, are-- deduced using my very own SQL ’skillz that killz’-- being set to gal_id 0!! Why? Why exactly?

Then, my images are being resized, even if I set &max_pic_size to 650... It’s really strange, really, really wonky.

      Help, please. smiley

You have understood the maxigallery concept little wrong..

Each gallery is bound to one document. One document can only have one gallery.

So when you have 2 calls on one document, they both manage the the same gallery and get the same pictures.

What you have to do instead is create 2 documents with MaxiGallery calls on them and some pictures uploaded there, then create another document where you use the childgallery display type or gallery query functions to get the pictures from the two separate documents.
