need advise on the gallery layout

Hello,

I’m creating a "pageview friendly" gallery.
Attached is the mockup of what i’m trying to achieve.

Couple of questions:

1. i saw a tutorial on Wiki (http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MaxiGallery#Picture_and_thumbnails_on_same_page) on how to have thumbs and large picture on the same page, so it shouldnt be a problem. I was wondering if it is possible to have the thumbs under the large images in a flash or ajax scroll?

2. page numbers - is it possible at all ?


Any other advise/directions will be appreciated.
I’ll put it all on Wiki page after its completed.

1. Yes, you can do a js script to scroll the thumbnails, but not ajax.. You know what ajax is right?

2. Yes, there is a placeholder for page numbers.
