MaxiGallery with embedded WebLogin

I’m interested in utilizing MaxiGallery to open a login form. I imagine I’d make a new page with the WebLogin snippet embedded, and then call that page with MaxiGallery, but haven’t been successful. Has anyone tried? Anyone offer suggestions?

Do you mean you want to use a modal window, like lightbox, to open a log in form?

And do you meant that if user is not logged in, it would show the login form and otherwise the manage pictures button? You can use the manageButtonTpl to do that.. see the default one in maxigallery templates folder.

yes, modal and yes like lightbox. sorry! I was originally trying to incorporate smoothbox, but then realized that ModX probably already has something to work with?
I’d like to have a link in site template that would allow admin to click, trigger a lightbox-type form, and have them login. Hope I’m making sense and being explicit enough?

doze, could you perhaps link to manageButtonTpl? I don’t know where you’re talking about? I downloaded and installed MaxiGallery 0.5.2 and don’t see a templates folder?

Umm.. if you are just looking to have the login page in a lightbox and not an image gallery, MaxiGallery is not suitable for you.

You can use for example the MadBoxr plugin to open the login form in an lightbox in an iframe. See example 3 here: http://www.mindreamz.net/51.html
