I have made a homepage for my dad who is a photographer. One of the things he is doing, is to take pictures at weddings, which he uploads to his homepage, so that the bride and groom can look at the pictures home and decide which to have. At these weddings he is taking a lot of pictures, we are talking about 100-200 pictures ... Now he has problems when uploads to maxigallery, because maxigallery is mixing the pictures when uploading. The pictures are not being uploaded in the order he is uploading ... do you understand our problem? Does anyone knows how to solve this problem?
Another thing, is there a way to automatically name the picture when uploading? - I want the name the file is having before I’m uploading is being the title of the picture when it has been uploaded to maxigallery, automatic.
If there isn’t a solution to these problems, can you recommend another gallery that easy can be integrated to modx?

Its a little time consuming but the upload photos function will allow him to set the order and provide titles and captions. You have to do this ten images at a time. There are check boxes to make this happen. You then hit the "Save" box and repeat the process.
You can also mess around with the size of the thumbnails and number of thumbnails in a row etc. How you have worked your template will determine your needs here.

Easiest way to get the filename to the picture title is to create a custom templates based on the original ones and replace [+maxigallery.picture.title+] placeholders with [+maxigallery.picture.filename+]
