MaxiGallery problem

Hi everyone,

I’ve just setup MaxiGallery accroding to the hints from Wiki page. I’ve created a container and child documents. I’ve put snippets just like it is recommended. And there is problem.

I have few galleries in a container. They have their own titles etc, but when I point to my gallery listing page (ie. the gallery container document, that contains snippet call to show the list of child galleries) I see only "manage pictures" button and it starts picture manager page for the container document. There is no child gallery listing when viewing galleries container document.

I had to manually point my browser to the page with certain gallery (by providing gallery ID) in order to be able to launch picture manager gallery.
Unfortunately there is another problem. MaxiGallery lists only those galleries that contain at least one picture.

Does anyone know how to cope with these "features"?
Is there a way to list all child galleries, even those ones without any picture? I’d like to see the list with galleries titles and a text "no images at the moment" or something in the case of empty gallery.

Are there any snippet call parameters to setup MaxiGallery that way or do I have to modify gallery code?

The childgallery view displays only galleries that have pictures in them.

If you want to list all galleries always, you could list them with Ditto for example (or with Wayfinder) and use MaxiGallery in Ditto or Wayfinder template to get a picture from the gallery if there is one, if there is no pictures, display text or image that no pictures have been added yet.
