Child gallery thumbnail size and Labels on Child galleries.

First an apology. I have searched and searched using google and the forum search to no avail for an answer to this. I have checked the wiki. If I have overlooked the answer to this problem I apologize for wasting your time and could you point my search in the right direction.

Second, the issue.

I have a Maxigallery call to child galleries. I need:

1.Large thumbnails of the childgalleries. Really large.

2. Descriptions under the thumbnails of the Gallerie it links to. i.e. Weddings, etc.

Grah! Can’t get there... I can order, move, set thumbnail size still no joy. Any help would be appreciated.

1. Create a new chunk based on the childgalleryTpl (/assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates/childgallerytpl.html).

2. If you have normal childembedType, the part you want to modify is in the top in [+maxigallery.childembedtype:is=`normal`:then=`.. block.

3. The bold part selects what picture it uses in the child gallery view <img src="[(base_url)][+maxigallery.path_to_gal+]tn_[+maxigallery.picture.filename+]" class="thumbnail" ....
tn_[+maxigallery.picture.filename+] is the thumbnail,
[+maxigallery.picture.filename+] is the normal size picture and
big_[+maxigallery.picture.filename+] is the big size picture. Change it to what you want.

4. In your gallery call, use &childgalleryTpl=`chunkname` where "chunkname" is the name of the chunk you created in step 1.

You can also add/change the description there. By default the description is <p style="width:[+maxigallery.picture_width_thumb+]px;">[+maxigallery.pageinfo.pagetitle:htmlent+]</p> eg. the childgallery page title is used. Change it to some other document field or a TV. If you use the normal picture as thumbnail for example, you might want to change the <p style="width:[+maxigallery.picture_width_thumb+]px;"> to <p style="width:[+maxigallery.picture_width_normal+]px;">.
