&gal_query_ids=`[+id+]`

Good day all,

I’ve been following the MaxiGallery tip for ’One thumbnail in page, but all pics in Slimbox/Lightbox v2 picture set’ which can be found here:

So I have the following calls:

[[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &order_by=`pos` &limit=`1` &galleryPictureTpl=`mgGalPicTpl`]]
[[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &order_by=`pos` &limit=`99999` &galleryPictureTpl=`mgGalPicTplHidden`]]

I’ve created the templates: mgGalPicTpl & mgGalPicTplHidden.

The calls are in a chunk that is being called by ditto so I have added the following to my MaxiGallery calls:

&gal_query_ids=`[+id+]`

I would expect to see 1 Manage button for each gallery (but probably 2 due to the 2 MaxiGallery calls). I’m not seeing any. Does this mean that when using &gal_query_ids=`[+id+]` the manage button wont work?

With the SVN version, you can see manage button also when using gal_query_ids parameter, but you cannot upload new pictures then, because gal_query_ids can have multiple ids and to which gallery would the new images be put then..

But you can use the view_gallery parameter instead of gal_query_ids, then you will see the manage buttons.

You must also use &manage_target and &is_target parameters to make the picture management in another document because you have multiple calls in the same document. See more information about these parameters from the MaxiGallery wiki.
