I have a site designed. Rather than whip up my own CMS (which I’ve done a few times), I want to get this site up and running quicker. I d/l’d and instlled MODx and am asking what the best sources/tutorials are for info on how to integrate MODx into an existing site?

It’s not a complicated site. It’s mostly a new site. No comments. No blogs. The hardest thing about it is the main news page, which I would like to have date-ordered from most recent, with a link to a subpage with the whole article if the news item is too long. As I’ve said, I’ve done this before on my own, but doing it again would take longer than i would like. All I really need help with is how to integrate the tags into my own html and how to set up the basic connectivity.

    Thanks!

Great, but where do I start learning how to incorporate the MODx tags into my site design?
        • I have a detailed account of doing this for my site here:
