maxigallery listing with ditto

hi

I have been playing around with MaxiGallery 0.5.2
Childgalleries, Slimbox, SmoothGallery all work great!

Now i want to list up all child pages from the overview page with Ditto.
- overview (ditto)
- Childgalleries (childgalleries_ids=`all`)
- MaxiGallery (previous | index | next)
- SmoothGallery
- Slimbox

This i my Ditto chunk.

Next i wanted to display the first image if there is a MaxiGallery used on the page, but to my surprise i already got some output.

- When i’m logged in each listing has a manager button.
- The Childgalleries already shows the 1th image of each gallery (SmoothGallery, Slimbox, Maxigallery)
- The Maxigallery shows only "« previous | index | next »" and "Picture: 0 / 0" although there are some photos inside.

so i was wondering where it is coming from and found out all that is somehow written into [+summary+]. i actually would like to have a bit more control over it. i.e. i don’t want to show "previous | index | next" if there is no image linked. rather i want to show the first image.

if i omit [+summary+] and follow the http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,25065.0.html instruction i kind of get what i want but then i’m missing the summary text

is there any documentation about what gets written into [+summary+] ?

or should i just try the newest version?

This is more of a Ditto support, but [+summary+] placeholder in Ditto has the introtext from a document if it’s set and if it’s not, there’s the beginning of the document content field. So, If you have MaxiGallery call in the document content field, it will come to the [+summary+] placeholder in Ditto.

thank you for the reply. i got a step further...

- overview (9) ditto listing
- MaxiGallery (16)

i added &view_gallery=`16` to the MaxiGallery call and it showed the correct photo..

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`pictureview` &view_gallery=`16`

...with view_gallery it does now display the image and correct picture count. but the "next", "index" and "previous" point to /index.php?id=9&pic=23 . i tried to change the picturetpl.html with no success. i managed to get the "index" right with [~[+maxigallery.picture.gal_id+]~] .... i believe this would work instead of [+maxigallery.index_url+]
but i didn’t manage to replace [+maxigallery.next_pic_url+] because i couldn’t findout the &pic=23 part...

no luck with &is_target=`1` &picture_target=`16` either.

so for now instead of putting pictureview-galleries into the overview page, i use &display=`childgalleries` which work already perfectly because [+maxigallery.childurl+] points already to the correct id.
