I installed MaxiGallery on a 0.9.6.1p2.
It seems to work (great!!) until I set the parameter &embedtype.
When I set that parameter, any value, the html opening side of the link tag (<a .....>) disappears. Thus, no way to click on the thumbnails.
Example extracted from the page html source:

It only closes the link tag!!
What can I do to fix it?

MaxiGallery works fine in 0.9.6.1p2 for me.. Could you all try the SVN version, thanks.

And always make sure if you use RTE that the snippet call is ok, by viewing the document source in manager without RTE or by using the RTE’s "code view" button.

And when using parameters, make sure that the parameter values are spelled correctly and that there are not any spaces in the value.

I downloaded the SVN version you linked to.
Now the links work (maybe for other reasons), But many parameters still have no effect.
I suspect not to know something I should...

[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &max_pic_size=`100` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

is an example snippet call I try, but the only parameter that seems to change the result is the first one. If I change the other ones nothing happens. No change in thumb size, no change in picture size, no lightbox appearing.
With the call above I get a simple thumb whose link heads to a white page with the picture in (http://the-address-of-the-image.jpg).
Changing &display to childgalleries, I get the child galleries thumbs along with the image thumbs and that’s all.

Shall I install or activate someway the scripts? Shall I add any additional css? Shall I reconfigure any php parameter?
Of course I work only on the raw code of the document (or template, when I want a template to be maxigalleried).

Please help if you can.

You have to re-upload the images if you change image sizes or filter settings..

If you use QuickEdit, you have to use slimbox embed type instead of lightboxv2, because slimbox uses mootools like QuickEdit.

Now everything works, and if something doesn’t... I know the reason.
I’ll play with this fantastic tool for a while, then I’ll try to use it in the best way for the site I’m working in.
Where can I find useful infos for a modx site customization of maxigallery?

You probably have a cached snippet call in cached document. Change your call to uncached.
