I have MaxiGallery working pretty well. During the actual image presentation I am getting colored borders on the "prev", "next" and "close" areas when viewed in IE6. I am using the Slimbox call. These borders do not show in Safari or FF.
I went into the actual Slimbox CSS and added borders:none to these areas and that seemed to do the trick.
I also had to add the same CSS declaration repeatedly to my paster template CSS as borders were showing up on all links in IE6.
Got it fixed now but was wondering if others have had the same experience?

most have img {border: 0;} in their css by default i guess..

What I was getting was a horizontal stripe (would change color depending on hover state) below the prev, next, close areas... Only with IE6 running on XP though...
I had that problem as well. I think it’s because IE6 sees them as links and the default IE6 style for all links is underlined.
I think I solved it by throwing in a bunch of
border:none;
text-decoration:none;
lines.
Iirc (it was a long time ago), the color-change was based on hover state and whether they had been visited.

Some of my links had CSS to show underlines on hovers etc. What was happening in this case was a thick bottom border of the color of the li’s and links. Like you said adding a whole mess of border:none declarations did the trick.
Reason #986 to scratch you head with Internet Explorer though...
