SmoothGallery on MODX CMS ok, except one thing

I have installed SmoothGallery on MODX CMS using MaxiGallery snippet.
Everything seems ok, except that I am trying to edit the jd.gallery.js file to change the default textShowCarousel: ’Pictures’ with some other text and it seems that the file is saved correctly but loads the same ’Picture’ description.I emptied the browser cache, tried from different browsers or computers, no success.
Also, could it be done to hide the "Click to zoom" feature?

The carousel text is set in the maxigallery.class.inc.php file when it creates the smoothgallery js code to load the object. The default text ’pictures’ comes from maxigallery lang file. You can use the &smoothgallery_textShowCarousel parameter in your snippet call to change that text. The click to zoom text comes from the default template (gallerypicturetpl). Create a new template based on the default one and modify it to suit your needs.
