chmod error?

This was posted in the "Module, Plugin & Snippet Usage" Forum before i remembered there was a forum dedicated to maxigallery.. sorry for the doublke post.

I have modx 0.9.6.1B with maxigallery 0.5.2 and every thing has worked fine. i have been able to upload images without a problem up until today... I created an embedded gallery today using: [!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`10` &max_thumb_size=`25`!] and i get the manage pictures button... I am able to get all the way to upload the images but it spits out the error below. I have not made any changes to the code. Just changes to my template... Any thoughts as to why this would happen?

This has been talked in multiple threads already. Could you ask your host that have they updated the server configuration somehow recently.. that would explain why it started to happen and help me to pinpoint the problematic server configuration.
