Uploading images problem

Hey all,
I’m a new user to MODx and well i have setup a site and i am setting it up and testing a few things at the moment. For the image gallery i wanted to use something with plenty of features etc so i found MaxiGallery installed and setup but when i try to upload images i get a

The website cannot display the page

internal server error 500

Has anyone got any idea what so ever ?
The server is IIS6 php latest version i have checked over the php.ini and cant find any misplaced settings.

Do you have GD library installed to PHP? MaxiGallery needs GD to work..

Also, does that error come up instantly when you upload images or will it take some time? If the later, it could be that the images are so big that the script hits php max execution time limits or other settings.. see maxigallery wiki page relating that http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MaxiGallery#Creating_your_first_gallery

Well i have just enabled GD so we will see if that sorts it =D
