[SOLVED] Maxigallery chmods 600

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with maxigallery after uploading my site.

Seemingly, whenever I upload an image it chmods it to 655 and the thumbnail to 600.

This means I can’t see the thumbnail. . . how could I go about changing it?

if you are running suexec environment, file permissions can’t go over 644 and folder permissions over 755. MaxiGallery chmods files to 666 and folders to 777, so that causes problems if you are using suexec. So ask your host if you are using it and in that case search replace maxigallery code (maxigallery.php and maxigallery.class.inc.php) 666 to 644 and 777 to 755.

You may need to use something else than 644 and 755 though.. your host should know it best what to use.

That might make for a good configuration param for the snippet:
&mg_newFile=`644` &mb_newDir=`755`

Yes, it’s been already implemented in SVN code for several months.. just haven’t had time to finish a new version..

Apparently it’s a Zeus server or something. Does this ring any bells?

Try the v0.6 test version from the sticky thread. There is &chmod_folders and &chmod_files parameters what you can try to use to set the correct chmod values.
