How can I hide current document's gallery thumbnail.? Pls help

How can I hide current document’s gallery.
In detail, I have one document named ’parent’. I added one picture in it using ’manage pictures’.
This document has two child documents and it contains gallery.
When I took the ’parent’ I got one thumbnail of its gallery and two other thumbnails of its child documents gallery. I want only the thumbnails from its child documents gallery [one thumbnail from each document].
How can I hide this document’s gallery thumbnail picture and display only its child documents gallery thumbnails.

If anybody can help, it would be very helpful

What do you mean by "taking" the parent document? What snippet parameters etc?

I mean when I view that page [ right click on that document -> click on preview document] I got image from that document’s gallery and thumb images from child gallery. I need only the thumb images from child gallery. No other images on that page. In short, when see a document, I need only its childgallery thumb images on that page.
The code using is [!MaxiGallery? &display=`childgalleries` &childgalleries_level_limit=`1` !]
Basically I need the code to hide the pictures in a document and the code can be passed with [!Maxigallery!] call. But I need to show that picture’s thumbnail on its parent .. Some more clarification, when view one document, I need to display that document’s childgallery thumbnails. But when click on that thumbnail, I need NOT to display images on that document, only display childgallery thumbnails of that current document.
How can I obtain this ?

One more thing, can I hide the page title of child gallery pages when displaying thumbnail images. I need only thumb images, no title below that thumbnail image. In detail; when I get the childgallery thumbnails, there is one title also below the thumb. [ now it is the document title] I don’t need it. There is any option to set the child gallery title as any other parameter other than page title, like long title etc ?

Ok, still not quite understanding how you have setuped the galleries. Are you saying that you have two maxigallery calls on the page, other for the gallery and other one that displays the childgalleries and you would like to make the gallery thumbnails not visible but still have the childgalleries? You can do a custom galleryOuterTpl to the maxigallery call and remove the [+maxigallery.pictures+] part from the default template content so it won’t show the pictures from the gallery. See maxigallery wiki page in modx wiki for more details about templates and where to find the default ones etc..

Yes, do a custom galleryPictureTpl and remove the part from the default template that shows the picture title.
