Maybe Pascal means the really ugly HTML source with all the huge gaps?
That aside, I must mention that the submenus are really, really tiny on FF/Mac. I know my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but even so, the font is awfully small.
The gaps to the HTML source comes from the default templates when phx syntax is stripped (and there is also empty lines to improve readability).. If you really care that the HTML source has empty lines, do a PHx modifier that strips empty lines and run the maxigallery call through that.. eg. [+phx:input=`[[MaxiGallery.....]]`:yourmodifier+]

About the empty spaces in the HTML source, I’ve added a call to a function which strips the blank line in mgChunkie Class to the render function.
I could post the modified call if needed.
