[SOLVED] Multiple Galleries on a tabbed page.

do you have the &is_target=`1` parameter in the call that is used as manage_target?

No, I’ve never even used that parameter. Is it on or off by default?

UPDATE: SO, I have been playing with it and still no luck. Now when I go to the gallery the manage pictures button won’t work. The page just refreshes. I will keep searching the forums for some insight. If you have any other suggestions let me know. Thanks again.

EDIT: Now I need to figure out how to customize maxigallery. And this may sound like a totally stupid question, but every usage of maxigallery inserts the "<div class="thumbscontainer">" and "<ul class="thumbs">" and I don’t know how to modify maxigallery without modifying the core template files. And since I am using MaxiGallery on three separate types of galleries (smoothgallery & two different implementations of slimbox) I believe that modifying it’s core templates will mess up the other galleries. So, does it always default to that thumbscontainer? Or can I just have the images wrapped in <a href> tags and dropped into my own template? Thanks.

The templates in assets/snippets/maxigallery/templates/ are default templates that the snippet uses. You can create your own custom templates either in files or in chunks and define them in the appropriate &...Tpl parameters. See MaxiGallery page in MODx wiki for more information about the parameter usage.

Do you still have problems in the galleries?

No, the galleries are not working. I upload photos and they show up now, but not inserted into the parsed page. Let me change these templates and I’ll get back to you. Thanks for the help.

It seems I’ve got it partially working. Everything is there in the source code - I think. But nothing shows up on the rendered page. It looks like it’s getting the images and referencing MG ok, but it’s not showing up. I’m a little lost on where to go now. If you want I’ll create a login for you to see my chunks, Ditto calls, and MG calls. Seriously, I’m that desperate! PM me if you think it’ll help. Thanks!

I am still having a problem however. In my tabbed pages, there are four sections. The first section is showing the images in the code source, but not on the page. The other three sections, which are set up identically, are not even parsing the code. Then I Looked at the source code to see if the JavaScript was loading and it’s not! Weird. I can’t figure it out. Why would one section show up and the others not show up when they are set up the same way?

OK, so, I got one section working the way I wanted. But, I’m still having problems with my tabbed section. I just noticed in the code that it’s doing this:



It’s not loading the actual scripts! Do you know why? It seems they calls are working the way they should be because in the source the images are showing up, but they’re not showing up in the rendered page. It’s very strange. If anyone has a clue as to why it’s doing this by all means, let me know.
