I’m getting some really strange folder and file permissions when uploading images. The new folder is set to 411, and when I manually change that to 755 or 777, the image is set to 232.
If I set the parameter &chmod_folders=`0755` then the folder is set to 644.
I’ve tested a simple mkdir() script on the same site, and it works as expected.
This is with the version from SVN marked "27/05/2007: Version 0.5.2", on MODx 0.9.6.1 rev.2784
I think some files are corrupted; even the thumbnail is set to 232, and of course nothing can be viewed.

Ok, it was something wrong with the MaxiGallery version from the SVN download. It did give me trouble uploading the files, I had to repeat several times. I removed everything, downloaded 0.5.2 from the Resources, it uploaded without any trouble, and is working just fine.
Hmm.. the &chmod_folders and &chmod_files parameters are only in the SVN version.. So I guess that there’s some bugs in them. Haven’t tested that feature fully yet.. Thanks for the heads up!

That may or may not be the case. I’ve been having problems uploading files via FTP for everything I’ve gotten from the SVN ever since the move. Files finish with a bigger size than originally determined, and files get corrupted a lot. Plus the upload fails frequently, requiring a resume. But archives taken from the Repository have no such problems. I dunno...maybe just an issue with my Cyberduck. I keep meaning to try with a different FTP client. The files all look fine on my local machine. Or could be my ISP, it’s been up and down and really really slow lately. This SVN archive was from a link to a zip file you had on a
recent post. It unzipped fine and everything looked good. I’ll try it on my local server and see how it behaves.
Ok, files are all OK, but it’s doing the same thing with the permissions.
