options don't work

my MaxiGallery calls don’t work fine. I’ve got MODx at localhost and my MG installed, as it’s described in wiki tutorial. I’ve got a master page, i.e. folder, named "foto", and a child page, called Gallery. I’ve got standart MG calls from tutorial on both pages. I don’t use editor, just pure html. I tried both cashed and uncashed calls, with or without pages cashing, with or without Js_libs.

I.e. it works in foto page, but only shows code of the MG call in Gallery. In foto page it works without optional parameters - I can see this because it doesn’t change language.

Soooww.... I don’t know what to do!

Need more information. What are the exact snippet calls? are they in some document or in chunks or tv’s or where? Is there other snippets running on the page? What MODx and MaxiGallery version? Do you have PHx plugin installed? Also, link to the site could help, if it’s possible to access your server.

For example, if you have the MaxiGallery calls in some chunk that is retrieved by another snippet, you cannot have them on same cache level or else the parsing will fail and the call is only displayed as text.. (if I recall correctly, this is a PHx bug)

Eg.

[!somesnippet? &chunk=`somechunk`!]

and in that chunk, you must have cached call

[[MaxiGallery? ....]]

Ok. I’ve got WinXP SP2, localhost Apache 2.2.6, PHP 5.2.1, MySQL 5.1, ModX 0.9.6 standart install (all as written in instructions, all optional components checked except demo site, UTF-8 charset), and it works just fine. Trying to make MaxiGallery 0.5.2 work fine too...
As far as you asked, I didn’t find any PHx in my Plugins page of MODx. Installed plugins are: Bottom Button Bar, Forgot Manager Login, Inherit Parent Template, QuickEdit, Search Highlighting, TinyMCE

The site has the simplest structure - parent documents are in the root folder of the site, and some of them have child documents.

Parent document for my image gallery is called Foto, it’s set non-cacheable and contains ONLY:
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`childgalleries`!]

Child document is called Gallery, it’s also non-cacheable and contains only:
[!MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`slimbox` &pics_per_row=`6` &max_thumb_size=`60` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`!]

The bad thing is that only page working is Foto page which is parent. It shows me button and I can upload fotos and edit - OK, but it doesn’t show any child galleries.

When I go to the gallery itself using it’s ID, i can see no button, but source code of the snippet call, you can see full source in attachment file.

In my 1st posting I’ve made a mistake, thinking that options are not working. Options are ok, I just made a quotes typo in the snippet call. But now all the calls are correct, and options are working, so I don’t know, what’s the real reason for this problem....

Oh!!!! Man!!! It’s OK now!!! I found the reason while writing you this message!!!!)))
The real reason was that TiniMCE or smth broke the line of the snippet call. I used my backspace and space buttons - And Everything Is Fine Now
