As a modx newbie i’ve been all over the forums, google, etc. to find an answer to my question...but have come up short.
In brief, I want to utilize CSS Star Rating in my MaxiGallery much like you would for using Jot with MaxiGallery; so that when you view the image in its external container (?pic=1, ?pic=2, etc.) you have rating capability for that image (rendered by a chunk?). I’ve implemented MaxiGallery and Jot this way but have no idea how to do this for CSS Star Rating.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?
I would like to start a dialog here as a means to figure it out, as opposed to just ’it can’t be done’.

You need to modify CSS Star Rating snippet so that instead of saving the rating per document ID, it would save it per MaxiGallery picture id, or Jot comment id. So make own versions for MaxiGallery and Jot that save the ratings to their own database table and modify the code accordingly.. should be pretty easy.

have you done anything with this? I looked at the script for CSS Star Rating, not sure what to replace and with what...just wondering if you got it working. Not sure if Id use it yet.
not yet, that project was put on hold just after I asked. I did start to look into the code for each and looks as if it requires some rework as to where you are saving and relating data for each element, but that’s as far as I got. I will keep you posted if/when I start work on it again...likewise.

Has there been any developments on this? I’m trying to figure out how to integrate a Star Rating for each individual Jot comment, but I don’t really know where to start.
