One Thumb per Page Firefox Problem

Hey there,

I tried to do the "One thumb per page" tutorial from the wiki cause i need exactly that on my pages;
However, I got the same problem like described in http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,16697.0.html
Always got a prase error, but when I put the &manage_target to a seperate document, it worked;

Well, is there yet another solution for this problem? Cause I’ll have quite a lot galleries on my page, and they sould be manageable for other users too! And I don’t think they can create a new document and edit the call for every new gallery ...

I also got another problem, but only in Mozilla Firefox: When i upload pictures, they look moved. See:

Strange, in IE they look normal; I’ve used MaxiGallery several times, never got this problem; Also one call alone does not cause this problem, only the two together.

Using MG 0.5.2 & MODx 0.9.6, my call:

Not until I implement a gallery id feature, where you can put a id to the gallery call to separate multiple galleries in one page from each others.. BUT, I don’t see what’s the problem in using &manage_target parameter? You only need to create one document that has the maxigallery call and &is_target=`1` in it and in all of the galleries, use that document in &manage_target parameter. They don’t need their own documents for the managing.

That is a CSS problem. Something in slimbox css collides with your site css, hard to say what exactly without seeing the site. I had same thing once with some template, but don’t remember what it was.. I think it was some a:hover setting.. not sure.

finally solved the probem!

the problem was caused by background: inherit; from the "a" tag.


=> caused the error!


=> worked!
