I use Maxigallery to display slimbox pictures.
I just looked at a gallery for the first time on my mother’s Apple using Safari and the pictures appear extremely dark (althought the thumbs look fine). Using Firefox on her computer, everything looks great.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue with Safari, or is something wrong on her machine?

It might also be that the slimbox overlay image is coming above the gallery images..

I don’t have Photoshop but the pictures are plain vanilla straight from the camera (not my camera either -- one of my users uploads the photos).
Since they look fine on all browsers except Safari, I suspect the overlay, but is the overlay transparent in Safari? I can still see the photo but it does look like it’s behind a very dark screen.
The previous and next buttons are also missing.
