When I’m logged into the Manager as Admin, and I goto my gallery page, all I see is the Manage Pictures button. When I logout, smoothgallery appears fine. Has anyone seen this?
If you use quickedit, it can be the cause to this.
What is your MODx version? In the earlier versions, QuickEdit used scriptaculous javascript library what will collide with the mootools library that smoothgallery uses. If you have recent MODx version, the QuickEdit probably uses mootools 1.0. If I remember correctly, smoothgallery uses mootools 1.1 and that’s why it fails in this case.. but I’d have to check that.. at some point QuickEdit and smoothgallery worked fine together, but I haven’t tested that combo lately..

Right after I posted this, I was able to see that that is the case. Some of my sites use 0.9.6, while the one in question uses 0.9.5. I saw that the scripts were different, so that’s exactly what it is. I’m going to see if there’s an easy way to upgrade the QuickEdit w/o going to 0.9.6. Let me know if you have a link for doing that. I’ll look into that in the meantime. Thanks.
