upload from local server

I’m trying to use images already on the server.
I’ve put the images in assets/galleries/ and CHMOD it. I can’t find a sample call or how to use the features in the wiki.
when I click ’Resynch’ nothing happens.

can someone please tip me with some instructions/link?

Haven’t personally tested this but try doing the following:

Create a folder inside assets/galleries/ named id_of_the_document_where_your_Maxigallery_call_is_invoked and put the images there. Then use the Resync button.

I named the images folder as the alias instead of doc ID....

Nowhere actually. When I first used Maxigallery I noticed it creates a folder named <document_id> inside assets/galleries/ for each gallery when the first picture is uploaded, which ended up in that particular folder. I just assumed that you needed the <document_id> folder in place.
