&thumb_use_dropshadow=`0` | still displays dropshadow

Hi, I have set up MaxiGallery to output 4 of the latest images posted into a specific gallery on the homepage of my site. I’d like to get rid of the dropshadow on the thumbnail and I know there’s a parameter for this - however it doesn’t always work! Caching is off on the site and I really can’t quite understand this behaviour though I have also experienced it on a different site I developed.

Is this a bug?

Dropshadow filter is done to the images on upload and cannot be removed afterwards in the current version of maxigallery.. in future releases, this will be possible, but I don’t even have an estimation for you when it’s available.

Another quick question re: thumbnail size. I’m guessing there is no way to reduce the thumbnail size from the default (I have tried, eg: &max_thumb_size=`57x57`). Is there something that can be hacked in the snippet code to achieve do this?

That should work, it means that the thumbnails can be max 57px high and 57px wide, but again.. the images are done during upload, so you have to reupload if you want them in some other size.. for now.
