Hi all,

I don’t know if it is to do with how I have put my template, chunks and TV’s together, but with photo blogging (from the wiki), when a user comments on an image, it posts it on every image in a collection.

Is this normal?

Ok, gone back through the tutorial and started from scratch, I can get the comments to work, but not to function as they do on the blog section of my site, one question, can I use placeholders for this particular method, when I adapt the call in the chunk with jot placeholders, the whole thing goes missing, here is the call:

[[Jot? &placeholders=`1`&tagid=`[+maxigallery.picture.id+]` &output=`0` &subscribe=`1` &moderated=`0` &notify=`2` &canmoderate=`Site Admins` ]]

[+jot.html.moderate+]
[+jot.html.comments+]
[+jot.html.form+]
[+comment.custom.email:is=``:then=``:else=`[+comment.custom.email:gravatar+]`+]

Arrghhhh... can anyone help... please.

try putting the jot placeholders in the document content or in site template..

Glad I got hold of you, close to having to take a site down, tried it in the template didn’t seem to work, let me try again, and perhaps document it better.

Perhaps there is an error in the jot call???? Just disappears when I use the following:

&tagid=`[+maxigallery.picture.id+]`

the jot call must be in the maxigallery template to get that [+maxigallery.picture.id+] placeholder working.. what I meant is that have the jot call in the maxigallery custom template and put the jot placeholders after maxigallery call in the document..

like i said, try moving the jot placeholders to the document content after maxigallery call
