Maxigallery: Using border instead of shadow in thumbnail

Hello, community!

I would like to ask if it is possible to use a custom border (based on images) for the thumbnails. I have noticed that there is a dropshadow folder which has the images, but it seems that Maxigallery (0.5.2) does not use it. I verified it by removing the folder but the shadow is still shown. So, does anyone know how to use an images and have a custom border around thumbnail, cause the shadow does not suit our UI.

AFAIK the border around the thumbnails in MaxiGallerie is ’part’ of the thumbnail image. Just display one of those thumbnails ( tn_some_image.jpg) in a viewer to see what I mean.

I guess you can provide your own border using css for instance if you disable the ’border’ parameter in the snippet call... My snippet call looks like this:

The shadow is controlled by &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`

Thanks for a quick reply. Unfortunately your snippet call does not work in my case. I still have the shadow on the thumb. Is it something to do with slimbox view I am using?

P.S. check if you replaced the right image

The shadow is done to the images on upload. It won’t disappear until you re-upload the image. You can change the dropshadow images to be what ever you want, maxigallery will use them.

Thanks for your help! I did not realize that the changes affect only the newly uploaded images. Now it works, and I am using a border as I wished.
