hi all,
i am building a website for some friends of mine using modx for the first time, and everything works out pretty good, except one major problem i haven’t figured out yet.
to keep things straightforward and simple for them to update their site, i tried to make everything as simple as possible and to automate as much tasks as possible.
so whenever they setup a new project-page for one of their projects (as they are architects, e.g. a new house) all they have to do, is select the proper template, fill in some project-details and upload a folder with the related images. modx and the mooshow-snippet take care of the rest, and that works pretty well. my problem is, that they also have flash-movies and videos for some of their projects and i have no idea how to incorporate those in the ajaxy goodness of the mooshow-snippet.
i know, that this is not the mooshow-support forum, but i am hoping that somebody might have an idea or recommendation that helps me -- one idea i have is to use the flash-video-player [
http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_video_Player] because it can "play" images, flv and swf but then again, i have no idea how to set up modx to generate a xml-filelist on the fly of a given filesystem-folder and load that into the flash-video-player.
i am very thankful for every idea or recommendation and looking forward to your replies.
