Tie additional images in with main

Hi all,

I was wondering if it is at all possible to tie more than one image into a main image, so that when you click on a an image to view the larger image, there is a group of images associated with the main image.

I doubt that this can be done, would love to hear of a workaround.

You could do each "main image" as a own gallery, then use childgalleries display mode to list all the main images and when user clicks on the image, it goes to the gallery revealing the group of images that are associated with the main image. You can use the offset parameter to make it not show the first image in the gallery what is the main image.
