Can't get MaxiGallery to change params

I have MaxiGallery release v 0.5 installed running under MODx v0.96-rc1
I can’t get any of the changes I make in the call to actually take place. For example I deleted the param &thumb_use_dropshadow and yet it still is showing the thumbs with a drop shadow. I cleared both the browser cache and MODx cache and still no change. I tried to change the pics_in_a_row and no change resulted. I tried to change the normal picture size and it doesn’t work either. The call that was on the page when it was first saved is what it is doing now despite changes made. So what is stuck? Is it something in the DB that hasn’t changed? This is frustrating.

The image size and shadow are done as the image is uploaded. To make changes to that, the images have to be deleted and uploaded again.

On a related note; I previously uploaded 6 pictures, then I changed the parent folder and MaxiGallery child page lost those pictures. I can see them in the DB - should I just delete those records or is there some way to get MG to see them again?

Galleries are stored in folders named after their document’s ID. You can probably fiddle with the database values to have it "find" the images.

I didn’t bother since I was only experimenting - I just deleted them all, cleared the MaxiGallery table in the DB and started anew.

I’ll test that sometime soon and if it works alright, I’ll put it to resource repo and information on wiki.
