i am using smoothgallery and firebug reports this javascript error in mootools.js:

do you have some other js library included on the page at the same time perhaps?

nope, just the stuff maxigallery adds.

Check a "view source"; possibly you’ve got QuickEdit or some other similar plugin or snippet adding library loads that you aren’t aware of.
