Could maxigallery create a index.html automatically when creatng a new gallery?

A automatically generated index.html could be useful for people how don’t want the visitor (or a hacker?) run through the galleries.

I ask myself too :

• for security and rights for this snipet
• bandwidth stealing

You mean that do a index.html file under /galleries/<docid>/ folders? Sure, I can make it do that..

It’s exactly what I mean. Thx Doze for the addon.
And for images, could we imagine an advice in the text install saying somethings about bandwidth stealing and the possibilities to avoid it? Or I must perhaps open an another topic? I thought the ideas are nearly.

If you don’t want people to hotlink your photos on your server, you have an option to only allow image linking from your domain in cPanel.

Oh, that’s bandwidth stealing.. yeah, not really related to the gallery snippet, I believe you can also prohibit that with htaccess. If you want more help, post to the general support forums..
