Last call for v0.5 feature requests and bug reports

The SVN version now supports TV’s in childgalleryTpl, eg. placehoders [+maxigallery.pageinfo.tv.tvnamehere+] (oh, and I renamed childgalleryPictureTpl to childgalleryTpl). The few bugs that are reported in RC1 thread have been fixed. The default css / html markup have been changed (does the thumbnails in unordered list now, worked fine on various picture sizes in my tests).

I don’t have much more in my mind to add to the v0.5 final version, so I’ll probably make it final pretty soon. If you have some new bugs to report or you have reported some bug and it’s not fixed in v0.5RC1, post it asap here or the RC1 thread!

Also, if you have some last minute feature requests, post them now!

I’ll still make the manage pictures button templateable and maybe possibility to have different templates for odd/even rows in thumbnail view and in manage pictures view, but that’s about it.

So if you have something on your mind... ...bring it on!

This may or not belong here. It’s a function.mkdir problem I get when I try to upload images (evidently MaxiGallery is not able to create the directory).

I’ve only seen it reported once, here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3843.315.html, however that thread was closed shortly after and a solution was never given. I’ve just reported this issue again here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,12531.0.html.

Since the issue haven’t been reported again and I haven’t seen references to it in the changelogs or trac tickets I assume it still exist.

Is it possible to add a file uploader which will automaticly make folder in some main folder gallery (like some browser or somethin’)?

I don’t know is it already included in maxigallery (I’m a begginer so don’t blame me), but I want to have something like this....

When I’m uploading pictures, that I only choose in which folder to put them...through some kind of browser


ex. login -> go to my main gallery -> create folder in another subfolder in the main gallery itself ("Main Gallery" | "name-of-the-club-gallery" | "event-gallery") -> upload pictures into it

Not possible. You create the document’s in MODx manager and put the snippet calls there, then you upload pictures in front end to each gallery. Maybe some day we will have some kind of backend module where you can manage galleries.
