It doesn’t help...
I’ve played a little with the maxigallery css file, but the only thing that could fix it a little is making the fixed size boxes for div thums, but it is not the solution really, as text boxes could be of variable length and images could be both landscape and portrait, so the result is not very good looking...

I think it is the solution though unless you different galleries for landscape and portraits.
add to your main css
as ie:

.thumbnail {width:100px;height:100px;}

You should then be able to fit your images in a row, shouldn’t you?

So the thumbs wont look great..but ultimately the images will , thats a standard solution to any lightbox formatting call Ive ever used. The text box for categories still seems fine too unless you have a paragraph title for a category.

I’m pretty sure that the thumbnails can be layouted right even if there is different sizes of them and some have text and some not.. Just a matter of making the CSS right.. I’ll have to spend some time on it later if you haven’t found a solution by then, but right now I’m busy with other things..
