any photo on any webpage enabled with a popup

Does anybody know how i can arrange that any photo on any webpage when clicked will popup and have a darker backgrond behind the popup.
The photo on the webpage should be a thumbnail.

You’re talking about a lightbox effect. There are a couple of ways to do this, but a lot depends on the type of page. If it’s a basic content page it’s a bit more difficult and would require the client to create a couple of steps (below). If it’s a product page or something else it can be done with a simple image template variable inserted in a chunk with the proper code around it.

For the content area it could work like this:
Create a template variable to upload the image - or two - one smaller and one larger. Create a chunk with the code for the lightbox and insert the TV into the proper place to pull the image. The client would then have to know how to enter the Chunk call into the content. It’s a bit messy having clients do this, but it could be done and the client could insert the image anywhere in the content.

Of course, if you’re really good you could change the TinyMCE output to include these things.
