I am trying to add some audio to a web page which plays on load in the background, all I need is for the users to be able to stop the music if they wish, that’s it nothing fancy, I tried Jplayer the ajax plugin but that seems like overkill and requires some javascript programming skills as far as I can see as it did not work for me.
I then found a post on here for something called mplayer but that forum post makes it appear to be a little troublesome.
Can anyone recommend a simple way for a simple person to get the most basic audio player working linking to just one music file.
