Hi,
I’ve almost completed ’modxing’ a site (www.friendsofroshni.co.uk/modx/ but have got stuck on how to include the Lightbox JS within the template.
Every time I try to place a reference to a js file, such as <script type="text/javascript" src="js/lightbox.js"></script>, in the template manager the error below comes up:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /modx/manager/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.41 Server at www.friendsofroshni.co.uk Port 80
I’ve read around but can’t find anything directly referencing this problem.
Thanks for any advice / help/

One suggestion right away: put this <base href="[(site_url)]"></base> (with closing tag) inside <head></head>!

I can reach the file w/o problems... http://www.friendsofroshni.co.uk/modx/js/
You need folders and permissions to be 777 or 755.
Try hard code the path
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.friendsofroshni.co.uk/modx/js/lightbox.js"></script>
or
<script type="text/javascript" src="[(base_url)]js/lightbox.js"></script>

Good luck! If you find a workaround - report back!
