Yeah, does anyone have a live sample for this?

hmmm...this sounds like something i could use but having gone through all the steps i just have the big images on my page and no thumbs.
Any ideas of what i may have missed?
I have copied the code from the example and placed it in the template as follows:

I just re-installed it on modx 1.0 (evo). It works.
Did you make sure you have the PHP DOM extension? You’re using PHP 5, right?

Requirements:
The PHP DOM extension. See http://php.net/DomDocument for more infos.

Plus, obviously, you’ll need the image-functions for the actual resizing stuff, but that’s normally part of the standard PHP distribution... if MaxiGallery works, you’ll sure have those installed. In the image-folder, check if thumbs were created or not. They should be named "original file name without suffix" + "_thumb.jpg"

Do a phpinfo() and see if you see something like the attached image. If not, bug your hosting provider to install the DOM ext. asap

only thing i can’t seem to find is where to set the advanced resizing...could you point me to it?
Is it in the php code in the plugins section?

Resizing parameter in % is obviously not "advanced"... If you wanted to set a minimum width or height, then it would take a few more lines to calculate the dimensions.

Is there any way to style the caption for the images, as I need to set a margin around the caption?

you can style the div id myCaption.

Now, would anyone know how to add a simple javascript fade on the big image...so when each thumbnail is clicked the big image fades in???

I thought it might be achieved by an onclick event but looking at the snippet i’m not sure.

Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated.
