But I have a problem with PNGs and transparency. It works all fine (with slimbox) but the transparent areas are filled black. Do you have any experience with PNGs?

I know about this problem with png and can’t to do anything in this version, while plugin uses Thumbnail and Watermark Class.

I think that this problem will solved with phpThumb class in next version.

For some reason, whenever I put $lightbox_mode = 1 or 0 (anything but 2), the images don’t get compressed and change file size. As soon as I set it to lightbox_mode = 2, they become compressed. I want the compression to happen but not don’t want to activate lightbox.. any ideas?

Hi! What is "compression"? Is that means that you want to create thumb (small preview)? Read manual about labels - label drthumbonly can help you.

By Compression I’m just referring to the change in file size. When I make lighbox_mode = to anything but 2, the file size remains large. As soon as I turn lightbox mode to 2, it becomes small. I’m wanting no lightbox, but small images, file-size wise. Any ideas?

Not sure that understand what you are realy need. Just try drthumbonly, may be it is what you want.

There is a mistake in readme about $lightbox = 1 and label drligntbox, so better to use $lightbox = 2 and set correct path to $allow_from.

Readme says that "If the value of parameter $lightbox_mode = 1 plugin generates the thumbnails without lightbox-link for all images" - and this is not right. Plugin is always processed only allowed images from $allow_from parameter.

All this parms will be changed in next version. $lightbox_mode will be depricated.
