Has anyone already integrated Bowman’s gallery from Stop Design into MODx?
Trying to find a nice gallery to use on a MODx website, and so far that and Plogger (has anyone got it working with MODx) seem to be the best.
What I really want but haven’t found is a gallery with slide show. Pictures are given categories (or keywords) and users can choose multiple categories at the same time and see all photos that are related. otherwise they can just browse photos.
Anyone got other solutions?
Cheers.
Take a look at TinyWebGallery at
http://tinywebgallery.ti.funpic.de/en/index.htm. I’ve used this for my kids’ school website (not up yet
) and it works a treat: simple drop-in method of adding albums and photos; images can be named by the admin; users can add comments and vote for their favourite photos; stats are recorded automatically; automatic slide-show in window or full-screen; CSS design. Oh...it doesn’t need a database either, so integration shoud be a snip!
I don’t think it has categories or a search, but that shouldn’t be too difficult to add I shouldn’t think (says he with not much PHP experience
).
Cheers.
