Final Release (Modx 1.0)

    When can we expect the final release of ModX? (Version 1.0)
    I didn’t find any information about that in the forums or on the main page.

    Will an upgrade from 0.9.2 to 1.0 cause problems?
    I’m planning on using ModX in a commercial project and I have to be sure there won’t be any bigger problems. smiley

      I can’t give you a date on 1.0, but what I can say is that the team has been very considerate in planning for upgradeability. Based on past experiences, I wouldn’t hesitate to use MODx on a commercial product (as many of us have and continue to do). Upgrades have not been too messy in the past and I don’t see any reason why that would change.

          FYI, the currently posted Roadmap is a bit outdated and the new one is being refined as we speak. Look for the new roadmap to be published in the next 2 weeks along with the 0.9.5 release.

                You think you’re impatient? I keep chewing up mouse cords.... Third mouse this week. I have written a script that sets off my house alarm if the numerals 1.0 come accross my rss feed.
