    Hi All,

Is it possible to call individual categories?
    Eg:
Show all events form Category 1 on page 1
Show all events from Category 2 on page 2 etc......

    Thanks

      Hello,

Is there anyone out there who can help?
      • Version 0.0.6-rc2 introduced two new parameters that I think perform the expected results you are trying to achieve.

        Parameters
&mxcDefaultCatId = (int) Set the default cateogry (id column in manager) of the events to disply
&mxcDefaultCatIdLock = (boolean; default false) Block the category listing when set to true; Also overrides the Manager

        Example use with List view:
        [!mxcalendar? &mxcType=`list` &mxcAjaxPageId=`48` &mxcFullCalendarPgId=`47` &mxcDefaultCatId=`3` &mxcDefaultCatIdLock=`1`!]

Example use with Calendar view (default) and additional parameters:
        [!mxcalendar? &mxcAjaxPageId=`` &mxcFullCalendarPgId=`47` &mxcTplEventListItemWrap=`mxcevent` &mxcTplEventListWrapTitle=`Test-A` &mxcDefaultCatId=`3` &mxcDefaultCatIdLock=`1` &mxcEventListItemClass=`mxModal`!]

also note that there are support threads for each release of mxCalendar that have more members watching so if you post in those you might get a faster response.

        cheers

          Thanks for the response.

          I have tried the following:
          [!mxcalendar? &mxcDefaultCatId=`99` !]

The two category ID’s i have in the module are ’99’ and ’100’ which is what the two events defaulted to.

The above call however adds both events to the calendar.

I tried the two examples you gave me but with no luck.

What is the best way to have a separate calendar for each document each with it’s own event

          cheers
          • Those ID numbers seem to high for categories, are you looking in the ID column of the category tab? Those look like event ID numbers.

Also just to confirm you have version 0.0.6 rc2 or higher, correct?

            Cheers

sorry, you’re correct...i was looking at the event tab and not the category tab

This is what i now have:
              [!mxcalendar? &mxcDefaultCatId=`1` !]

It still however shows both events, one from each category.

Even if i disable the second category
              • can you confirm your version of mxCalendar, it’s listed in the module manager top right corner

                  Hi,

                  Sorry, it’s Version: 0.0.6-rc3
                  • note for everyone; there was a bug in the 0.0.6-rc3 category filter code on the "list" mxcType view which will be updated shortly in a more enhanced release 0.0.7 version supporting additional features include viewing permissions based on Web user group.

                    cheers
