Greetings Peeps, my modx questions continue.

I’ve added an "issues" folder in "assets" as I was finding it a mission to store templates and images in seperate directories. However I discovered that while using the "insert image" button in the RTE I’m limited to just the "assets/images" path. No matter how much I tinkered and trawled through code I could find no way to either add an additional resource path or modify the existing "images" path.

Could anyone help me find a solution to this?

To simplify what I’m trying to do here it is in a nutshell: Allow the FckEditor insert image button to add images from a path other than "assets/images".

The more I use it, the more I think FCK editor is appropriately named.

On a totally unrelated note, I’ve learned that sometimes vowels are silent and apparently they occasionally don’t get written, too.

I have the same question, is this solved yet?

This requires a complete rewrite of the resource browser to accomplish this. At the moment, I’m looking into a few different solutions to replace the current resource browser. I’m hoping I can at least get a simple solution worked out pretty soon....it’s just a matter of time! smiley

              Hi Guys,

I found the solution in a different post:

GO to Administration > System Configuration > Interface & Editor Settings

You will find the 2 fields there: Resource Path and Resource Url.
You can change the path there.

              Best,

              Z-
